Xerox To Acquire Veenman; Expands Reach to Small and Mid-Size Businesses in the Netherlands

NORWALK, Conn., April 16, 2008  -- Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) and Corporate Express NV (NYSE: CXP) today announced a definitive agreement for Xerox to acquire Veenman B.V., a subsidiary of Corporate Express, for approximately $68 million (€43 million) expanding Xerox's reach into the small and mid-sized business (SMB) market in the Netherlands. Veenman, with six offices located throughout the Netherlands, is the country's leading independent distributor of office printers, copiers, and multifunction devices serving small and mid-size businesses.

Founded in 1919 and headquartered in Capelle a/d IJssel, the Netherlands, Veenman has recently expanded to provide document management software and consulting support to its customers. As an office technology dealer, Veenman sells products from various suppliers, none of which today include Xerox. Xerox Awarded Air Force Contract for Global Office Equipment and Services Deal

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 15, 2008  -- Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) has won a five-year blanket purchase agreement on an estimated $400 million U.S. Air Force contract for the placement of Xerox multifunction printers, network copiers and supplies.

Xerox will provide technology and services to help the Air Force reduce expenses, consolidate equipment and achieve global standards in its document management operations.

Xerox Settles Securities Lawsuit

NORWALK, Conn., March 27, 2008  -- Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) received preliminary court approval to settle a securities lawsuit that dates back to 2000.

The company agreed to settle this case to avoid the time, expense and uncertainty of litigation. Xerox did not admit to any wrongdoing as part of the settlement, which is subject to final court approval and other conditions.

Xerox claims its environmental impact calculator measures the money your wasting and carbon footprint your making.

From old printers that are always on but in use only a few minutes a day to unnecessary print jobs, a fleet of printers, copiers and multifunction printers are probably more wasteful of energy than the server farm everyone wants to turn green.
